FAIRFAX, VA — SupportEd is hosting a free webinar titled Peer Learning: Fostering Multilingual Learners’ (MLs’) Oral Language Development and Content Understanding. The interactive webinar will be hosted by Diane Staehr Fenner, PhD, SupportEd President and Founder, alongside Sydney Snyder, PhD, Principal Associate at SupportEd.

Staehr Fenner and Snyder are both Multilingual Learner experts, best-selling authors, and accomplished researchers. They also have extensive practitioner experience working both in  classrooms and districts.

During the webinar, participants will learn why peer learning opportunities are essential to MLs’ oral language development and engagement with content. They will also explore four key practices for fostering MLs’ engagement and participation in peer learning activities, and gain access to a Padlet of free tools and resources that will remain live after the event.
